Badger delivers 1st new crane to refinery dealer

Today in Houston an Open House was held at the Contractors Crane facility on Jensen Drive to showcase the new Badger CD4420 cab down crane that is the first new crane to come to the refinery and petrochemical sectors in many years. This new crane was met with excitement as a crowd of 65 attended. Steve McReynolds of Groves Equipment, a major equipment supplier to refineries, said " You have a really nice machine here, you have done your homework and you have hit the nail on the head!" Mike Daniels, president of Contractors Crane served lunch and had door prizes, hats and t-shirts as prizes.
Contractors Crane of Baton Rouge Louisiana will also host an open house with the new Badger CD4420 as well as they support many refineries, petrochemical plants and contractors with parts and service on the many older cab down cranes in use today. These older cranes have seen a lot of use and customers are patching them together. The new crane with 77' reach, available jib, comfortable and roomy cab offers the latest in technological advances, Tier III Cummins engines and built by a manufacturer with a vast history of cranes and construction machinery.
