Amtrak's newest fleet member - Badger Equipment 1085R

June 2009

Amtrak took possession of a 2009 Badger 1085R Maintenance of Way machine recently for work in the Michigan area. This machine painted in their fleet colors, came equipped with a genset and magnet, extenda-stick and power thumb, all wheel drive and all wheel steering, hi rail system by Badger and a Cummins Tier III engine.
